Well I know this probably isn't worth it's own thread, but I start threads so rarely that I won't feel bad about it.

I just wanted to give a quick "good bye" to the community. I've enjoyed the hell out of Guild Wars. It ate over 500 hours of my life over the summer.

But with school starting again, and the fact that I've almost fully unlocked everything, the game is losing its appeal to me. My guild's plan to begin organized PvP never really got off the ground, and all the effort to get those last few runes and mods I need doesn't interest me right now. So I'm taking a well deserved break from the game. I'll check in for the "extreme PvP" this weekend, but other than that I'm finished with the game until the long promised Summer Update arrives.

So best of luck to everyone, I'll see you all soon. Until then... may all the ecto drops be assigned to you.

I don't play GW anymore either, I might hop on when they finally decide to update the goddam 15k tormentors set so I can see how that armor I bought months ago looks, but other than that I've moved onto other games. I don't intend to leave this "community" though, I just like talkin' with some of the people on these forums.
